Day 1

The program for the first day depends on the arrival time of the group.
Most flights arrive in Almaty in the morning.
After checking in at the hotel and having breakfast, there will be a city tour, including visits to the historical center of Almaty, museums, Panfilov Park named after 28 Panfilov Heroes, and the Ascension Cathedral. Dinner will be served at a restaurant offering national cuisine.

Day 2.  Altyn Emel National Park

Early in the morning departure to the village of Basshi to visit the Altyn Emel National Park. The distance to Basshi is 260 km from Almaty.
This unique place is famous for its Singing Dune. In this park, we can also observe interesting animals: gazelles, and perhaps we will be able to see kulans.
Accommodation in a local hotel with three meals a day.

Day 3.  Zharkent

In the morning, we'll depart for the village of Zharkent. The distance to Zharkent is 117 km. Along the way, we'll enjoy the incredible views of the Jungar Alatau Mountains.
In Zharkent, we'll visit the wooden mosque in Chinese style, a monument of 19th-century architectural mastery. From Zharkent, we'll head to the village of Saty to visit the Kolsai Lakes National Park. The distance is 237 km. Accommodation in Saty will be provided in a hotel with three meals a day.

Day 4. Kolsai and Kaiyindy Lakes

In the morning, departure to the picturesque Kaiyindy Lake, lunch at the hotel. After lunch, we head to Kolsai Lake.
Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Saty at the same hotel.

Day 5. Charyn Canyon

In the morning, departure to Charyn Canyon National Park. We will visit Charyn Canyon, as well as the picturesque locations of Black and Lunar Canyons.
Lunch will be served at the cozy Tara café within the national park. After lunch, return to Almaty. Distance: 230 km. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6. Medeu and Shymbulak

Visiting the picturesque foothills in the Ile-Alatau National Park. Trip to the high-mountain skating rink Medeu and ascent to an altitude of 3200 meters by the cable car Medeu-Shymbulak.

Day 7. Departure from Almaty

Most international flights depart from Almaty Airport early in the morning.

General information

The weather in May and early June is usually sunny, with rare precipitation, temperatures ranging from +20 to +25°C.
In the mountains, temperatures may drop at night to around +5 to +10°C, so it's advisable to have warm clothing (sweater, light hat, light jacket, but not more).
There are no special health requirements, and there won't be any long hikes. Some people may feel unwell at higher altitudes, but we limit the stay above 3000m, so there shouldn't be significant issues.

Accommodation in comfortable hotels. The cuisine is mostly local, traditional, not spicy, with flavors close to Middle Eastern cuisine.

The group size can vary. Jeep trips can accommodate from one to three people, while Mitsubishi Delica minibus trips can accommodate from one to four people.

Pricing

The tour price includes accommodation in hotels, transportation, three meals a day, guide services, as well as entrance tickets to museums and national parks.
1.    Tour price is 200 euros per day per tourist. Vehicle: Jeep. Number of tourists - three people and accompanying guide. Total price for the car is 600 euros per day.
 2.   Tour price is 170 euros per day per tourist. Vehicle: Jeep. Number of tourists - three people without accompanying guide. Total price for the car is 510 euros per day.
3.    Tour price is 170 euros per day per tourist. Vehicle: Mitsubishi Delica. Number of tourists - four people and accompanying guide. Total price for the car is 680 euros per day.
4.    Tour price is 150 euros per day per tourist. Vehicle: Mitsubishi Delica. Number of tourists - four people without accompanying guide. Total price for the car is 600 euros per day.

We can also arrange any individual tour for you upon request. The duration of the tour depends on your preference. We can offer you short-term one or two-day tours, as well as longer trips with or without a guide.
